Since 1877, Ceylon has been growing and exporting high quality tea. When the newly independent Government of Ceylon established the Ceylon Tea Propaganda Board to market tea globally, Dutch artist Victor J. Trip was chosen to design the logo, posters and promotional material for the Tea Board.
